Leisure Centre Attendants urgently required for our client based in Larne - £10.98ph

As and when required - Successful candidates will be required to work Monday to Sunday, evenings and public holidays as dictated by the needs of the service.

DUTIES INCLUDE;

1.1 Supervise the use of sports facilities including swimming pools and health suite.

1.2 Undertake general lifeguarding duties associated with the swimming pools.

1.3 Take statutory pool water/spa sample tests and if necessary advise Line Manager of any required adjustments.

1.4 Distribute, erect, dismantle and retrieve equipment (including sports and exhibition displays etc) both indoors and outdoors.

1.5 Demonstrate the use of fitness and weights equipment.

1.6 Undertake general and specific cleaning duties, including internal and external areas, individually or as part of a team throughout the leisure centre - sweeping, mopping, polishing, dusting, vacuuming etc in sports and social areas, toilets, changing rooms, and offices.

1.7 Collect user tickets and check armbands and control access for the various activity areas.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA;

Possession of a current lifesaving qualification, minimum National Pool Lifeguard Award or RLSS Bronze Medallion or equivalent.

Ability to pass swim competency assessment.
