Job description

We are excited to offer these permanment role with our leading client based in Craigaon with excellent rates of pay and family friendly hours

Responsibilities include:
1. Interpret the daily plan and set up production lines as per specification within time frames allocated.
2. Ensure weights are controlled at initial set up in line with the production specification.
3. Make adjustments to the machinery and ensure it's efficient running at all times.
4. Solve minor problems on the production line.
5. Maintain high standards of quality, safety, hygiene and housekeeping within work area.
6. Liase with Line Leader / Management Team / Maintenance Technicians and Technical Team on a regular basis reference faults / difficulties etc.
7. Ensuring that the lines standards and settings are maintained.
8. Any other reasonable duties as required.

*Full training will be given for the job role*

Reporting Relationships/Social Conditions:
The job incumbent is a member of a large team (including operatives, technical, maintenance and management personnel), reporting through to an Operation Team Lead to the Production Manager. Effective liaison, team working and interaction with other operatives, maintenance, technical and management staff is fundamental.

Physical Conditions:
The job is performed mainly in a chilled factory area and involves extensive periods standing. The incumbent is required to operate effectively; setting up machinery, reporting faults and making adjustments to machinery to ensure efficient running at all times. It is imperative that the job incumbent is aware of health and safety regulations and adheres to them.

* Must be numerate is essential.
* Good communication skills is essential.
* A willingness to learn is essential.
* Good interpersonal skills are desirable.
* Ability to work on own initiative and make decisions.
* Ability to work with minimum supervision.
* Ability to work in a demanding and fairly pressurised environment.
