Maintenance Electrician



Day Shift Role

My client is a leading,ultra-modern factory that specialises in a unique and forward-thinking manufacturing process They have a vacancy for a Maintenance Electrician who will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for:

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday 8 am - 4.30 pm
  • 1 in 3 Saturdays 8 am - 12 noon
  • 1 in 2 Sundays from 7 am for 6-8 hours

Role - Maintenance Electrician

  • Provide knowledge and experience and support to install, maintain and repair production and ancillary equipment within the site
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance in accordance with maintenance schedules
  • Carry out reactive maintenance as required
  • Identify and implement improvements on equipment
  • Maintain appropriate computerised and manual records and liaise with various department personnel / suppliers and customers
  • Complete electrical installations as required

Person - Maintenance Electrician

  • Fully qualified Maintenance Electrician with recent experience working within a manufacturing environment
  • PLC variable speed drive and control systems experience
  • Hands on approach to solving problems and achieving results is a must
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and reporting skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
