The Client: Our client require a Mechanic to join their company and become an integral part of the team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance tasks and other precision-based maintenance.
• Keep management aware repair problems as the occur.
• Dismantle, repair or replace faults with large plant and company vehicle fleet. Such as brake pads, belts, water pumps, transmissions and any other repairs needed.
• Check new plant and equipment before it is used on site.
• Deal with all aspects of Plant and Vehicle; including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic.
• Service Plant and Vehicle as required.
• Maintenance records and maintains operating logbooks and databases as required.
• Maintains control of plant tools, manuals, repair parts, assemblies and consumables.
• Works closely with and takes direction from the Operator team and support in ordering repair and/or spare parts, maintenance parts, assemblies and consumables.
• Comply with applicable Safety, Environment, Health, and Waste Management policies and procedures.
• Inventory management and general housekeeping.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Hours of work: Mon - Fri

Salary: Competitive (based on experience)
