Our client located in Santry is searching for a Merchandiser to join their team on a Permanent basis.

The role is varied with a lot of travel throughout the island of Ireland. This role offers a great opportunity for career progression. This role would be ideal for someone who wishes to move from a product assembler position or retail sales role into the area of Field Sales/Merchandising.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm and one Saturday in four with time off in lieu working in the same week. For this role you will require a full B licence with ability to drive the business van as well as the flexibility to overnight on occasion around Ireland, based on business delivery requirements.

THE ROLE|

The ideal candidate will have customer and sales driven skills. Working closely with the Field Sales Representatives, you will coordinate and make up display stands, deliver to clients, and arrange on site whilst providing excellent customer service while on client sites.

ON ANY ONE DAY YOU WILL:

• Preparing display boards
• Travelling to shops and updating display stands
• Participate in the general day to day operations in warehouse and showroom
• Provide excellent customer service to customers
• Update records on internal systems regarding visits and stock

WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:

• Previous experience within retail sales or product assembly operative
• Full clean B Driving Licence
• Ability to lift/move heavy products up to the weight of 10kg
• Good knowledge of basic maths and computer skills
• Flexibility to working hours with the potential of occasional overnights based on location of delivery route
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team environment, self-manage and prioritise daily workload
