Job description

Mortgage Administrator required for Enniskillen

Hours of Work:

9am - 5pm (Mon - Fri)

9.30-12 Noon (Saturday on a rota basis)

Candidates will have excellent administration skills, a positive attitude to customer service and an interest to develop within the role. The role will involve mortgage administration and other customer service duties.

Duties

  • Book mortgage appointments
  • Produce Mortgage Illustrations
  • Provide "Reason Why" letters based on Fact Finds completed by an Advisor
  • Process new mortgage and additional borrowing applications
  • Liaise with Mortgage Brokers, providing quotes for product switches and updates on new mortgage cases
  • Issue Product Switch offers for introduced and direct cases
  • Liaise with Mortgage Brokers, 3rd Parties and Head Office staff as required
  • Instruct Valuations and review valuation reports
  • Deal with general enquiries face to face and over the telephone in a professional manner
  • Maintain knowledge of branch, investment and security procedures
  • Customer Service and cashier duties, as and when required.
  • Undertake various administrative duties

Qualifications

  • Educated to A Level standard (or equivalent)
  • 6 GCSE passes (or equivalent) at Grade C or above, including English and Maths;

Essential Criteria

  • 2 years continuous (Current/recent) experience in a customer facing role
  • 2 years continuous (Current/recent) experience in an administrative role
  • IT literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication & numeracy skills
  • A positive attitude to customer service
  • The ability to work well as part of a team
  • An enthusiastic and positive attitude to work
  • Highly organised with the ability to work quickly and accurately

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a similar role in the banking/financial industry
  • Full CeMap Qualification
