Office Manager


£25,000 to £35,000 depending on experience

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Office Manager to join a fast paced Veterinary Practice. Reporting to the Practice Principle you will join the Senior Management team ensuring the smooth running of the practice through the management of the practice and its staff.

Your main duties will include;

  • Supervise and monitoring the work of administrative staff
  • Budget management
  • Implementation of HR policies
  • Implementing and maintaining procedures and office administrative systems
  • Ensuring H&S policies are up to date
  • Internal Auditing
  • Generating management reports
  • Managing practice database
  • Organising company events
  • Liaising with suppliers

Essential Criteria

  • 3 years' experience in a similar senior management role
  • Recent continuing professional development course attendance / certificates
  • Knowledge of HR processes
  • Fully proficient in MS Office suite
  • Full driving licience and access to own vehicle
  • Experience of working in a Veterinary Practice would be desirable
