PA to CEO - Kildare
At Staffline Recruitment we have a fantastic new opportunity available for an experienced PA to provide support to the CEO of a prominent sporting representative body.
Based in Maynooth, Co. Kildare, in modern, refurbished offices, this permanent role will have the following responsibilities:
- Managing the office, diary and correspondence of the CEO, highlighting any priority areas that require attention and resolving time conflicts
- Acting as the first point of contact for the CEO, proactively and promptly reviewing and tracking incoming enquiries such as emails, invitations and general correspondence; responding directly or advising on responses to the CEO; providing clarity of outcomes/actions.
- Assisting the CEO to co-ordinate relevant activities, events and meetings
- Managing databases and filing systems
- Co-ordinating the scheduling and materials for meetings of the Board and national sub-committees
- Providing high level secretarial support and planning to key internal and external meetings involving the CEO, attending as needed. Support includes preparing reports, correspondence, briefing notes, presentation materials, agendas as required; co-ordinating or drafting papers; producing minutes and ensuring follow-up actions are progressed
- Minute taking at board, committee and other meetings, as required
- Providing PA support to the Chief Operating Officer
- Managing the schedules and travel arrangements of the Senior Management team
- Liaising with relevant colleagues and volunteers for reports
- Supporting the administration requirements of the senior management team
- Providing reception cover during periods of annual or other leave
- Providing support as needed on new projects and initiatives
Interested applicants will meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a senior PA / Team Administrator role
- Demonstrable experience supporting C Suite level personnel
- Significant prior office environment/administration experience
- Strong attention to detail and co-ordination skills
- Impeccable standard of confidentiality
- The capacity to work well within a team
- Accurate and thorough approach to work with excellent attention to detail
- Logical thinking and comfortable with multi-tasking on a daily basis
- Practical and proactive
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal
- Good level of proficiency in MS Office skills, e.g. Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Knowledge of Sharepoint would be a plus
This permanent, full time role will pay a salary on the region of €40,000 - €45,000. Immediate interviews will be held for suitable candidates.
