An excellent PERMANENT opportunity has opened up for a

Performance & Development Adminsitrator.

Main Function of Post:

Wrightbus is a fast-moving company which has experienced considerable growth over the last year. We have an exciting new opportunity for a Performance and Development Administrator to join our team, taking responsibility for the day-to-day administration duties.

The P&D Administrator will be responsible for providing P&D focused advice and support to managers and employees in line with organisational policies, procedures, and legal requirements. You will work closely with the P&D team on, onboarding, performance management, succession planning, leadership training and employee engagement.

You will be part of the team who will nurture and develop the skills of our workforce to ensure we meet the talent and capability required both now and for our future growth. You will be a key driver in the development and delivery of a value-added Performance and Development Strategy.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Performance & Development

  • Take an active part in initiatives to deliver the Performance and Development strategy for Wrightbus.
  • Support stakeholders with the implementation of the Performance and Development policies, procedures and practices which meet the requirements of ISO9001.
  • Co-ordinate and complete all the administrative tasks to support the successful implementation of the annual training diary to meet mandatory and developmental requirements.
  • Ensure that the skills matrix is always maintained accurately.
  • Responsible for collecting all relevant documentation to supports with funding applications / claims / tenders.
  • Ensure that all contractual / legal documentation in relation to training is maintained.
  • Assist with all the documentation required during the training processes - invite to training, training attendance / evaluation forms, probationary / appraisal documentation issuing and return tracking.

Apprentice/Student Management

  • Work closely with Schools, Colleges, Universities and Workplace Providers to promote opportunities within Wrightbus.
  • Support the recruitment process for Apprentices.
  • Establish supportive relationships with all students/apprentices, coordinating key meeting and ensuring all appropriate documentation is readily available.
  • Develop an appropriate database to track the performance of the apprentice across the four-year programme.

Employee Engagement

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives ensuring that they identify, target and drive improvement in Employee Engagement.
  • Support with the roll out of an employee survey and collate the employee feedback recognising areas of strength and those that require improvement developing an appropriate action plan.
  • Establish an employee's centric focus with the ability to bring life to the employee's needs.

Onboarding, Probation and Performance Management

  • Responsible for the ensuring that all delegates are invited to induction and all appropriate paperwork is collated and filed appropriately.
  • Support with the implementation of the probationary and appraisal process.
  • Maintain relevant records.

P&D Information System / Reports

  • Ensure that PAMS and other applicable systems are updated accurately and timely.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, ad-hoc reporting and compilation of statistical information as required to support managers with continuous improvement and review of performance e.g. training hours, ROI, compliance reports - DNA, appraisals.
  • Ensure preparation of grant claims in a timely and accurate manner for review by P&D Manager.

Other Performance and Development duties

  • Provide advice to line manager and employees when dealing with telephone / e-mail / written enquiries and personal callers to the Performance and Development office.
  • Support with the development of team members.
  • Assist in the development of training materials to include training handbooks, jobs aids, models, multimedia visual aids.
  • Ensure all training materials meet the Wrightbus standards.
  • Support the development and maintenance of training databases ensuring adherence to GDPR.
  • Support the development of a standardised set of processes / systems / databases to be used across the Learning and Development function. Regularly review to ensure consistent application.
