Personal Lines Customer Advisor
We are currently recruiting for one of our clients based in Ballyclare who are looking for a Personal Lines Customer Advisor to join the team.
Purpose of the Role:
- To work within the Personal Lines Department, responding to customer needs and requirements in an appropriate manner
- To answer all calls and enquiries in a prompt, positive and courteous manner
- To support the firm's goals through excellent customer service skills. Converting incoming enquiries into sales, focusing on customer retention levels and providing ongoing after sales and servicing support.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Educated to GCSE standard including Math's & English
- Good keyboard skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, Email & internet
- Experience of providing specialised sales advise to support customer requirements
- Through understanding of quote systems and product range
- Has undertaken (or is willing to undertake) relevant customer service and insurance training
Skills Required:
- Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to gather and analyse information from the customer and to match relevant products with the customer's requirements
- Ability to identify and respond appropriately to an individual customer's level of understanding

Responsibilities:
- To identify potential sales from all incoming calls and enquiries
- To analyse information gathered and undertake sufficient research to make suitable recommendations
- To complete all supporting documentation in a timely, compliant and accurate manner
- To support the departmental Key Performance Indicators and sales targets as directed by the Personal Lines Manager
- To comply at all times with the requirements of the firm's own procedures, the Financial Services and markets Act 2000 FCA regulations
- To be aware of, and to follow at all time the firms policy on Treating Customers Fairly and FCA Code of Conduct (COCON)
- To be aware of and to follow at all times, the firms standards of ethical behaviour
- To maintain customer records accurately and securely in accordance with the firm's own record keeping requirements and following data protection rules
- To maintain professional competence by complying at all times with the Training and Competence procedures and continued professional training and development requirements of the firm.
- To undertake all other duties as reasonable required and directed
Hours of work:
- Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm

- £21k
