Porter (Handyman)

Lisburn

Temporary

The Client: Local body based in Lisburn, serving local residents.

The Role:

• The Porter is required to provide and maintain a quality customer service, ensuring that facilities are clean and well prepared, equipment is serviceable and properly handled and health and safety and hygiene standards are maintained throughout, in accordance with internal quality assurance system.
• The post holder will assume other delegated duties relevant to the post as reasonably assigned by the Facilities Manager including participation in the interchange of duties to cover annual leave, sickness absences, shifts etc

Hours of work: 37 hrs per week

Requirements:

1.1 - A minimum of 12 months previous experience in a similar post with specific experience in at least four of the following areas:

• Reception
• Security
• Cleaning
• Mail Room
• Erecting, dismantling and storing equipment
• Maintenance work

1.2 - At least two years' experience in a similar post with specific experience in at least four of the following areas:

• Reception
• Security
• Cleaning
• Mail Room
• Erecting, dismantling and storing equipment
• Maintenance work

1.3 - A working knowledge of electronic mailing systems

In Return:

• Rates of Pay: £11.39 p/hr
