Principal Legal Officer

Principal Legal Officer required for a large public sector organisation based through the Northern Ireland Civil Service.

Salary: £27.04 p/h

Location: Lanyon Plaza

Hours: 37 hours per week

Duration: April 2023

JOB SUMMARY / MAIN PURPOSE:

The role holder will be part of a team of lawyers in the provision of the Division's "Employment" caseload. This will include representation before the Court in relation to employment work and liaison with our public sector clients in relation to this. The role holder may be the first point of contact in this business area.

Principal duties are:

• Liaising with clients
• Working as part of a team
• Attending court

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• A qualified Solicitor/Barrister, entitled to practice in Northern Ireland
• 3 years' PQE experience working as a barrister or solicitor
