Production Manager

An excellent opportunity for a Production Manager to join a leading manufacturing company based in Antrim. Reporting to the MD your main duties will include:

• Consolidate production plans and establish priorities on and between projects
• Manage employees and monitor performance
• Ensure your team are adequately trained and understand targets and that they are working to consistent standards, meeting delivery dates and quality requirements
• Ensure that all relevant environmental and health & safety regulations and procedures are adhered to.
• Determine and monitor the overall resource capacity (personnel, material and equipment) for the Factory and set priorities to maintain production expectations and costs.
• Develop long term & short term plans to improve quality, increase production capacity & maximise profitability.

Essential Criteria

• Experience in a similar Production Manager position within a manufacturing environment
• Experience of Lean Manufacturing techniques
• Strong commercial awareness
