Job description
Job Title: Production Supervisor (Nights) £39k to £42K
Location: Artigarvan
The Client: Lakeland Dairies
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
As part of the Production Management Team, the post-holder will assist the Production Manager in the daily supervision and efficient running of the intake & processing / Drying / Bagging & Despatch Department to deliver high quality consumer product and achieve agreed KPIs/standards in Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Delivery and Cost.
Hours of work: 40.25 Avg Hours/Week (Working Nights a 4 on & 4 off rota)

- Rates of pay £39K to £42K
Requirements:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE | |
Essential: | |
Candidates should possess proven experience and knowledge in the following areas: | |
· |
Food Production/Manufacturing |
· |
Working on your own Initiative defining, planning and managing your workload |
· |
Attention to detail ensuring accuracy of information and process |
· |
Recording and presenting information. |
· | Communicating with stakeholders in the delivery of an effective production operation. |
Desirable: | |
· |
Experience and working knowledge of Quality systems (ISO, HACCP) |
· |
Dairy Production/Manufacturing |
· |
Supervising or managing a team |
· |
Reviewing and analysing production data, identifying issues, concerns and improvements |
QUALIFICATIONS | |
Candidates should possess at least ONE of the following: | |
Essential: | |
· | a third level qualification in a Food Management/Quality or Production Management field, OR |
· | Secondary level education to include GCSE Mathematics and English and have a minimum of 3 years Production Supervisory experience within food manufacturing, OR |
· | Secondary level education to include GCSE Mathematics and English and a minimum of 7 years Production Operator experience within food manufacturing |
Desirable: | |
· |
A Degree level qualification in a Food Management/Quality or Production Management field |
