Production Operative

Lisburn

Temp Contract: 6 months

The Client: Our client is a leading power generation specialist and EPC solutions provider for the engineering, installation and maintenance of gas-fired distribution power plants, standby mission critical generation, and battery energy storage systems.

Hours of work: Full-time + overtime

• Monday - Friday
• 7.30am - 4.30pm

The Role:

• Assist with all tasks associated with the production of containerised gas engines.
• Participate fully as a member of the manufacturing team.
• Assist Fore person, team leaders, subcontractors, and other departments with any issues.

Requirements:

• Ensure shopfloor and panel shop are always kept tidy i.e., waste removed to relevant skips, bins emptied
• To ensure housekeeping standards are always maintained i.e., tools/ cables returned after use, packaging disposed of in relevant bins.
• To clean out and paint sets as deemed necessary prior to despatch.
• To ensure that all sets are despatched within the time scales allocated.
• To assist and help fore person and team leaders with all production issues.
• Assist other departments with all other issues.
• Minimum 2 years' experience working in a busy production environment.
• Forklift Licence.
• Manual handling training

Rate of pay:

• £11.50 per hour
• Saturday- Time 1/2
• Sunday- Double time
