Our Client :A dynamic manufacturing business based in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. They Supply high-quality vending and washroom services products, PVC interlocking floor tiles, rainwater systems (guttering) and street litter, recycling and medical bins to clients via a number of companies and across various sectors worldwide; with core markets in the UK, Europe, Middle East, India and South America.

Type of Work

In terms of the physical aspects of the job, employees may be required to operate automatic or semi-automatic machinery or to complete repetitive tasks on a production line / within a production unit. This may involve manual handling of loads up to 20kg (as per safe manual handling technique), bending, pushing and pulling and a degree of manual dexterity for tasks involving smaller components. Tasks may be in a seated or standing position, depending on the area of work.

Typically, Production Operators would be required to lift PVC floor tiles from a machine and stack on pallets. Alternatively, candidates may be required to fill bottles with gas / liquids, or to put together smaller components within our hygienics area. Flexibility is essential as Production Operators may be required to work across all workstations within the factory environment, as required by the needs of the business.

Level of Experience

Previous experience of working within a production environment would be an advantage but is not essential as full training would be provided.

Hours of work:

Shift Pattern

Must be fully flexible

40 hours per week (either 5 x 8 hour shifts or 4 x 10 hour shifts)

07:00-15:00, Monday-Friday and occasionally 15:00-01:00 Monday - Thursday

NO WEEKEND WORK

Rate of pay : £10.00 p/hour
