Our client, established in 1937, one of the world's leading engineering businesses are seeking to recruit a Production Supervisor to join their existing team, based at their site in Cavan town

Over the past number of years, they have a unique and diverse portfolio range and have been aggressively investing in R&D, product certifications, product quality, productivity enhancement and operational excellence - this is an exciting time to join their team

The Role:

As the Production Supervisor your duties will include

• Oversee planning, line productivity, improvement initiatives and personnel in terms of driving overall performance and engagement.
• KPI's include productivity, safety, quality and personnel engagement and management.
• Coaching and supporting Team Leaders
• Using TPM, Continuous Improvement and Kaizen techniques for a visual production line with required flow.
• Creating effortless communication throughout the organisation with critical focus on your value chain.
• Anticipate and remove obstacles from continuous improvement.
• Upholding the highest standards of safety, quality and discipline in a supportive environment.
• Facilitate audits from customers, suppliers and certification bodies.

Hours of work: Day Shift Mon - Fri

Must be available for shift rotation from time to time

Requirements

The ideal candidate for the Production Supervisor will possess

• Diploma Manufacturing/Engineering/Quality or related field.
• 5 years experienced in a manufacturing environment.
• 2-3 years' experience in managing a team
• Excellent written and oral communications
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
