Job description

Staffline are working in partnership with a large public sector organisation to recruit a temporary Project Operations and Communications Manager to start ASAP for a duration of 6 Months (initially)

Pay rate: £18.53pr hour

Location: Belfast

Hours: Mon - Fri (9.00am - 5.00pm)

Essential Criteria

Hold a level 5 qualification in a relevant discipline

PLUS have a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in managing funded projects. ·

English GCSE (Grade C or above) OR Essential Skills level 2, or an equivalent qualification. ·

Maths GCSE (Grade C or above) OR Essential Skills level 2 or an equivalent qualification. ·

A minimum of 3 years operations management and monitoring of funded projects including the preparation of monitoring and evaluation reports ·

Experience of Project management of funded projects ·

Have experience in Operations and Communications of funded project ·

Experience in the use of ICT systems, for example Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, Internet and Internet applications ·

Have experience of using and establishing administrative and on-line systems ·

Demonstrable experience of managing teams to achieve objectives

Duties

The Operations and Communications Manager will be responsible to the Gencomm Programme Manager and for the operations and communications management of the Gencomm Partnership Project.

The Gencomm Operations and Communications Manager will be responsible for delivering the operations and communications elements of the Gencomm Programme as dictated by the Joint Secretariat of the North West European Interregional Funded Programmes in line with the approved Gencomm funding application.

This will involve delivering and managing a range of key operational and communication activities that meet the strategic needs of the Programme and maximise funding drawdown.

Including remote management of 30 staff from the 10 Partner Organisations in five countries engaged in the project; with specific regard to operational and communication activities.

Successful applicants will be required to undertake an Access NI Disclosure check at a cost of £18/£33. A person's criminal record will not, in itself, debar that person from being appointed to this post. Any information given will be treated in the strictest confidence.
