The Client: Local Public Sector body based in Lisburn, serving local residents.

The Role: As a member of the Sports Services Unit Management Team the post holder will be required to

• Be responsible for the development and management of the marketing function across the Sports Services Unit
• Be responsible for the development and management of a strategic media relations programme and the development of an internal and external communications strategy
• Deliver an innovative facility and service marketing campaign ensuring increased awareness of Sports Services

Hours of work: 37 hrs per week

Essential Requirements:

It is essential that applicants have a minimum of:

• Degree in a relevant subject eg marketing, PR, Communications or Business Studies
• A minimum of 3 years experience within the last 5 years in Marketing and Public Relations which includes:

• Developing and implementing marketing and communication plans
• Experience in media relations
• Experience in creative writing
• Developing and managing market research initiatives
• Managing a small team of staff

**where applicants do not hold the qualifications as outlined in 1.1 they must demonstrate a minimum of 5 years experience as outlined above

Rate of Pay: £20.47 per hour
