Job description


I am urgently looking for an experience Purchase Ledger clerk for a progressive organisation in Belfast. Extensive accounts payable experience is ideal but good alternative accounting experience will be considered.

Key Duties

  • Inputting invoices on a daily basis
  • Posting of invoices following authorisation
  • Running reports
  • Reconciling supplier records to supplier statements
  • Ensuring prompt payment of authorised invoices
  • Filing paid invoices
  • Dealing with queries & chasing up authorised invoices
  • Foreign transfers/Drafts payments
  • Travel Expenses
  • Providing cover for other team members

Key skills

  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Professional with a strong work ethic
  • Accounts payable experience ideally within construction/manufacturing environment
  • Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook
