Purchasing Administrator required for permanent role in Derrylin, Co Fermanagh
Hours of Work:
8am - 5.30pm Monday to Thursday
8am - 4.00pm Friday
Duties
- Reporting to the Purchasing Manager
- Assisting in the day-to-day purchasing of stock
- Liaise with colleagues in other departments
- Deal directly with suppliers
- Maintain and review the Vendor Assessment Scheme
- Ensure that the quality of goods received from suppliers, meets with the requested specifications. Where required arrange for the return of unacceptable items.
- Complete administrative duties such as weekly reports, data analysis, data entry/updates to the database and administration of stock orders
The successful candidate will
- Have one to two years purchasing experience
- Be efficient, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
- Have experience of working within an administration and customer-focused environment
- Have experience in organising own workload
- Be able to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills.
