Purchasing & Supply Chain Coordinator

Craigavon

£30,000 to £32,000 depending on experience

An excellent opportunity for a Supply Chain Planner to join a local manufacturing company based in their Craigavon site. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager main duties will include:

• Negotiating costs, ranges and supply in defined product areas as part of an overall Procurement Team to ensure appropriate and cost-effective solutions
• Communicating and negotiating with a range of existing and new suppliers and manufacturers on a daily basis including building and maintaining relationships
• Manage stock levels in line with customer forecasts
• Ensure that accurate records are maintained and are up to date
• Offering excellent customer service through the availability of the product range

Essential Criteria

• Experience in a similar position
• Proven ability to negotiate and communicate effectively to build lasting relationships with suppliers
• Good IT skills including Excel
