Purchasing Co-ordinator
Belfast
£25,000
An excellent opportunity for a Purchasing Co-ordinator to join a leading distributor of specialist products. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager your main duties will include:
- Obtain order confirmations to ensure services or materials are being scheduled per order requests. Update the company database with confirmed delivery dates.
- Expedite orders to track timely receipt of goods or services to support customer service and company targets.
- Maintain the material records on the company database (lead-time, minimum order qty etc)
- Maintain accurate purchase transaction history through organised purchasing and vendor records on an ongoing basis.
- Support resolution of invoice discrepancies
- Obtain commercial invoices for import requirements.
- Obtain quotes and proposals as required.
- Prepare and place purchase orders with vendors in accordance with lead times and operational requirements
Essential Criteria
- Experience in a similar position
- Experience of Sage, Excel, Teams and Word
