Purchasing Manager - Retail



Staffline are recruiting for a Purchasing Manager to join a leading retail distribution company based in the Newry area. Reporting to the MD main duties will include:

  • Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
  • Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
  • Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
  • Manage relationships with supply partners
  • Use of MRP systems for demand forecasting
  • Attending tradeshows

Essential Criteria

  • 3 year's experience in a similar role
  • Experience in the retail or distribution industry
  • Experience using MRP systems
