QUALIFIED ACCOUNTANT| DUBLIN SOUTH | 3 MONTH CONTRACT | €65-70K
Staffline Recruitment is currently recruiting an Accountant on behalf of our client, a leading non-profit organisation with offices in Dublin South. This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified professional to join an established team. The role is an integral role within the finance function for the business and will report directly to Head of the Department.
The role will be offered on a full-time, contract basis for approximately 3 months and the client is keen for an immediate start. A hybrid working arrangement will be offered to the successful candidate.
THE ROLE |
The main purpose of this role is to provide day-to-day support to the Finance and Procurement departments, ensuring high level and cost-effective financial reporting is carried out in accordance with internal and external policies. This is an extremely busy role so will suit an effective multi-tasker with excellent organisational skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts
- To establish and maintain high quality financial reporting in line with the company's policies and internal controls
- Preparation of files for audit
- Preparation of annual financial statements
- Monitor and manage future financial performance and indicators to ensure optimal decision making
- Co-ordinate balance sheet reviews on a regular basis
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, business policies and procedures and monitor to ensure best practice is adhered to across the organisation
- Build and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Support the wider finance function on a regular basis
REQUIREMENTS |
- At least 2-3 years most qualified experience required (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA)
- Proficiency in Sage Line 50 preferred or similar finance software plus proficiency in MS Office including advanced Excel
- Knowledge of management accounting principles and audit procedures
- Knowledge of procurement practices an advantage
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills
- Motivated, self-starter with enthusiasm and pro-active approach
- Ability to identify and recommend process improvements
