Job description

Working exclusively on behalf of one of my clients a leading manufacturing company in the Ballymena area I'm actively recruiting for a Quality Engineering to join their growing team.

Quality Engineer - Ballymena - Salary £Attractive

Working in a busy manufacturing environment, the Quality Engineer will be responsible for achieving and maintaining industry leading levels of quality throughout the manufacturing operations.

Duties will include:

Working within the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with IOS9001 and to drive Quality Performance forward

Ability to create reports that provide a high level summary, capturing the required level of detail and offering fact-based objective conclusions.

Analysis and resolution of Customer and Supplier Quality concerns

Carry out process, product and system audits

Conducting detailed investigations, preparing reports for Senior Management

Periodically review and update Quality Management System documents to ensure they remain applicable and in line with the Company Policy and Objectives.

Ideal candidates will be degree educated in an engineering/technical discipline with experience in a manufacturing environment.

We are looking to attract candidates with at least 3+ years experience working with a Quality based role and strong understanding of Quality Management Systems.

Have ISO-9001 Auditor certification and experience dealing with third party audits and be familiar with a variety of inspection techniques and can act as an auditor.

Good communication skills, can work with production colleagues to drive product quality and process improvements.

Strong IT Skills essential.

An advantage to those candidates with ISO 9001 Lead assessor and experience of lean manufacturing. Experience of preparing weekly management performance analysis reports.
