An excellent opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join a leading engineering and manufacturing company based in their state-of-the-art facility in Lisburn. Reporting to the Quality Manager your main duties will include:

• Ensure that all Customer quality requirements are compliant
• Ensure total customer satisfaction by resolving external and internal concerns promptly
• Responsibility for making informed decisions regarding line stoppages due to quality problems
• Dimensional evaluation of products to ensure compliance with agreed CAD & Drawing data
• Control of Sample Approval of new Product, including compiling of documentation
• Conduct internal and external quality audits to continually identify areas for improvement within the business and suppliers
• Monitoring and measuring of quality KPI's
• Assist in the training of quality awareness, working with operational supervisory and management teams
• Compile with all Health & Safety procedures

Essential Criteria

• 3 years' experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of 8D, FMEA, Control Plan, APQP, PPAP
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 & ISO 9001
