Staffline is working in partnership with a leading local company for Quarry Operatives in the Magherafelt area.

Our client have an array of quarries throughout Northern Ireland which supply a wide range of aggregate to the construction industry and due to continued growth we are looking for Quarry Operatives to the team.

Main Responsibilities:

• Operating both mobile and fixed quarry plant to safely move and process materials
• Assisting in overall quarry production
• General labouring and housekeeping duties
• Daily inspections associated with your role
• Maintaining a safe and acceptable working environment
• Ensuring compliance with all good working practices and Company's policies including Health and Safety
• Any other reasonable request made by management In return,

The successful candidate will be rewarded with:

• Fixed hours of 7am - 5pm Monday to Friday with possible Saturday work.
• Competitive hourly rate for first 40 hours, overtime paid at time and a half thereafter
• Bonus paid monthly based on daily crushing tonnage

Essential Criteria:

• Experience of operating mobile plant (loading shovel & dump truck)
• Be a good team player with the ability to use on own initiative and understand level of responsibility
• Be highly motivated with drive and enthusiasm
• Good time management skills
• Be hard working, conscientious and reliable
