Job description

Receptionist required to provide a high level front line customer service to public and staff at local leisure facilities.

Duties will include

  • Providing a full range of receptionist/telephonist services and control admission, ensuring a high standard of customer service
  • Dealing with complaints and issues, resolving where possible or escalating in accordance with agreed procedures
  • Responding to panic alarm and liaising with emergency services
  • Carrying out regular security checks
  • Processing card and cash transactions
  • Operating booking system
  • Responsible for shop sales
  • Providing a word processing service including drafting word processing letters
  • Undertaking a range of clerical tasks including filing, faxing, photocopying etc


4 GCSE's Grades A-C or equivalent


6 months experience in a customer facing role e.g. reception, front of house

Cash handling experience

Competence in the use of Microsoft Office or similar operating systems

Good oral communication & interpersonal skills

Ability to work as part of a team

In Return:

  • Rate of Pay: £9.74 p/hr
  • Holiday Entitlement: 28 days per annum
