Job description




The Client: Local Government body based in Castlereagh, serving local residents

The Role:

  • Meet and greet customers and members of the public. Deal with the public/client enquiries, problems, difficulties or complaints and record as appropriate to ensure a high level of customer service provision.
  • Provide administrative support to the Facilities Management department to include word processing and updating of databases.
  • Process all incoming mail and deliveries ensuring it is allocated to the correct client.
  • Close the Bradford Court reception and ensure it is secure before leaving for the day.
  • Assist with the emergency evacuation procedures for Bradford Court.
  • Ensure the provision of high standards of customer care across all the services provided.
  • Ensure compliance with Council policies and procedures and operate within the highest standards, which reflect the core values and behaviours of the Council.

Hours of work: 17 hrs per week


  • Five GCSE passes at Grade A-C, NVQ Level 2 in Administration or equivalent
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in a customer services environment or reception post
  • Where applicants do not hold the qualifications, they must demonstrate a minimum of three years' experience as outlined above

  • Rate of Pay: £10.01 p/hr
