Job description

Based in the heart of County Down - Our client in Castlewellan has a fantastic opportunity :

JOB TITLE: Sales & Customer Service Admin

HOURS: Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm

REPORTING TO: Management Accountant

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for supporting the sales function and ensuring smooth, efficient running of sales administration processes.

Carry out sales administration duties in relation to all sales activity within the company.

Act up on behalf of Sales and Customer Service Supervisor as and when required.

Participate in cover of the weekend sales rota.

KEY TASKS & DUTIES

Sales

  • Carry out daily telesales calls and process sales orders.
  • Assist the Sales Team in their role by providing administration support.
  • Process sales orders for CDC customers.
  • Process picking lists and schedule drivers and 3rd party hauliers for delivery of sales orders.
  • Process where required customer ASN's & labels for delivery.
  • Issue weekly sales reports.
  • Communicate regularly with Credit Controller on aged debt prior to processing of sales orders.
  • Reconcile sales orders raised with sales invoiced.
  • Run weekly reports on sales orders not yet invoiced & sales orders deleted.
  • Issue sales credit notes for sales shortages / non-delivery / delivery errors.

Stock

  • Update stock system with goods despatched.
  • Maintain register of stock held by 3rd parties.
  • Ensure paperwork is completed and filed by staff for checking loads in despatch before loading.
  • Provide cover and support for other administration team members.
  • Any other administrative duties as directed by the company accountant.

General

  • Comply with site Health and Safety requirements.
  • Observe all Company Procedures at all times.
  • Have a flexible and positive approach to the role.
