Job description

Sales and Finance Administrator

Staffline Ireland are recruiting for a Sales and Finance Administrator on behalf of a leading technology company. The Sales and Finance Administrator will have a diverse workload and be tasked with a range of responsibilities covering both Sales and Finance. This is a fixed term contract for 18 months with potential for extension working on a hybrid basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a cross-departmental team, supporting both Sales and Production teams to meet revenue targets.
  • Accept, process and progress customer orders from EMEA and Asia, acknowledge and advise of any changes.
  • Manage the administrator mailbox and deal with customer queries.
  • Liaise with other departments such as Shipping & Supply Chain to ensure timely progress of orders.
  • Administering software licences for release to customers, using the customer licencing system.
  • Daily monitoring of banks (multi-currencies) & allocating cash against supplier / customer accounts.
  • Liaise with internal staff (e.g. Sales, Support, Legal) on customer issues.
  • Process multi-currency supplier invoices onto SAGE Line 500 in accordance with company procedures and resolving queries.
  • Preparation of mid-month and month end supplier payment runs in all currencies.
  • Preparation of month-end balance sheet reconciliations (e.g. bank reconciliations) & processing of journals (e.g. payroll, cash).
  • Preparation and posting of intercompany recharge invoices with multi-currency intercompany partners.
  • Assisting with external & internal audit queries.
  • Any other duties role may involve.

Person Specification:

  • 1 year experience working in a finance/sales administrative function
  • Multi-currency experience
  • Knowledge and experience of using a variety of data sources & systems
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong understanding of general accounting processes & internal controls

Desirable Criteria:

  • 2:1 Third level qualification
  • Sage Line 500 experience
  • Experience in working in a similar size organisation
