Sales Manager

Staffline Ireland are recruiting for a Sales Manager on behalf of a leading independent distributor of power tools, fixings, sealants and adhesives to the construction industry. The Sales Manager will lead the sales team and will need to operate strategically to ensure long term success, and confidently drive performance with the team on a day to day basis.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strong leadership to the sales team, ensuring annual budgets and targets are met
• Coach develop and monitor the sales team
• Ensure the sales process from lead to sale is fit for purpose, used effectively and Sales KPI's are reported in a clear way
• Have strong commercial acumen and entrepreneurial spirit
• Senior level engagement with key customers
• Identify industry trends and customer needs regards the range of products offered
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and senior management
• Responsible for maintaining and developing ecommerce activities
• Any other duties role may involve

Person Specification:

• Proven Sales experience preferably within the construction industry
• Excellent sales skills and commercial understanding
• Have strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Professional and customer focused manner with ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organisation
• A full driving licence
