Staffline are searching for an experienced, talented Sales Manager for a 4 Star hotel in Galway. This is a unique opportunity for candidates with previous hospitality experience looking for their next career step.
- Seek out and helping to secure new Corporate Accommodation and Meetings business
- Manage portfolio of accounts in Corporate, MICE and Leisure segments in local and regional markets
- Develop, implement and monitor annual sales plans for the hotel
- Manage all aspects of proactive sales activities, ensuring sales resources are used to maximize revenue channels
- Assist in budget planning process
- Deliver agreed upon sales targets
- Network within industry, detecting and converting potential new business
- Maximise revenue by unlocking new business and upselling services within the property
- Manage multiple campaigns and targets at any given time
- Deliver excellent customer service by understanding in detail the customer needs and tailoring packages to meet these needs and providing clear communications to HOD's
- Utilize the full sales method mix, including self-sufficient lead generation, primarily through face-to-face meetings, telephone calls and networking
- Attend local, regional, national and international seminars, events and functions as necessary
- Complete hotel onsite inspections and tours with interested parties
- Continuously develop the public relations of the property within local, national and international markets
Candidates will be expected to have a flexible approach to work to attend events, meet diverse needs of clients, including but not limited to some after hours or weekend travel, exhibiting and entertaining.
- The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum Third Level Sales or Business-related Degree
- 2-3 years' experience in Sales - preferably hospitality
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Strong experience in the Corporate Market
- Ability to use analytical tools to monitor and report
- Excellent Communication and organisational Skills
- Own transport as travel will be part of this role
