Seasonal Enforcement Officer

Downpatrick

The Client: Local Government body based in Co Down, serving local residents.

The Role:

The post holder will be responsible for the effective and efficient fulfilment of the Council's statutory duties with regard to the enforcement of all relevant legislation. The post holder will be required to liaise with personnel from relevant agencies to deliver a service which aims to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour in Newry, Mourne and Down District Council area.

Shift work pattern to include evenings, weekends and Public holidays

Requirements: Demonstrate at least 1 years' experience in one or more of the following areas:

1) Enforcement of legislation

2) Crime Prevention

3) Active involvement in Community Liaison Groups

In Return:

• Rate of Pay: £11.50 p/hr - increase in pay if weekend/overtime work is carried out
• Holiday Entitlement
