Job description

Senior Administrator/Project Manager

Newry

Temporary (Min 6 - 8 months)

The Client: Local non-government body based in Newry, serving local businesses.

The Role:

  • Processing and quality checking voucher applications;
  • Processing information and documentation for all stages of a programme(s) to agreed processes;
  • Raising purchase orders, receiving & reviewing invoices, claims and processing payment information;
  • Responding to enquiries to programmes from companies, delivery consultants & stakeholders;
  • Accurately recording data and updating management information systems;
  • Any other duties as required in support of project managers

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 3 year's experience having a lead role in the administration required around a project or a key work assignment;
  • Ability to interpret and process accurately a range of data/information, assessing against agreed criteria and provide a recommendation;
  • Ability to interpret and process accurately a range of data/information, for reports, papers, presentations.
  • Ability to effectively monitor and manage financial records, including checking for accuracy and identifying issues.
  • Strong IT skills in a business environment to include Excel and Word;
  • Ability to work independently and manage own workload and priorities effectively.
  • Ability to form effective working relationships;
  • Highly effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Minimum third level, or equivalent, qualification

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience of working directly with SMEs or within an economic development environment.
  • Experience of working with and maintenance of databases for data processing and reporting.

Hours of work: 37 hrs per week (Mon to Fri 9am - 5.30pm).

In Return:

  • Pay: TBC
  • Holiday Entitlement: 28 days per annum
