Senior Design Engineer

County Tyrone

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Design Engineer to join a leading engineering company based in County Tyrone. Reporting to the Engineering Manager your main duties will include:

• Manage design projects and develop new products
• Manage projects through from concept, design, support build and to installation.
• Co-ordinate with colleagues to support the sales team with technical specifications
• Produce project status reports and other information as required by the Management Team
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Co-ordinate with other departments relative to Engineering Design
• Follow all Company processes relating to equipment design
• Check and approve drawings using design processes, procedures and checklists
• Resolve design quality issues as they arise, managing the design and provide detailed solutions

Essential Criteria

• Degree in an Engineering related subject
• 4 year's design experience gained within a manufacturing environment
• Experience in CAD
• Product development experience
