Senior HR Advisor (Band 6)
The Client: Local Public body based in Armagh, serving local residents.
The Role: The post holder will support the Assistant Director/s of Human Resources (ADHR) in the delivery of a comprehensive service which will support Directorates in achieving their HR objectives including CSR Plans; Workforce Planning; Succession Planning and skills mix initiatives; reductions in sickness absence, overtime, agency and locum costs; the introduction of a training and development plan including the roll-out of the Knowledge and Skills Framework (KSF) and ensuring Recruitment & Retention issues are addressed. The Senior HR Advisor will act as the first point of contact providing advice in relation to employee relations matters and will carry responsibility for an employee relations caseload. The post holder will take a lead in specific projects as agreed.
Hours of work: 37.5 hours, Monday- Friday, 9.00am- 5.00pm
1 Degree, recognised professional qualification or equivalent Higher qualification, in a Human Resources related field AND 2 years'
experience in a Human Resources role at a minimum of Band 4 level or above
HNC / HND or equivalent / higher qualification in a Human Resources related field AND 3 years' experience in a Human
Resources role, 2 years' of which must be at a minimum of Band 4 level or above
5 years' experience in Human Resources role, 2 years of which must be at a minimum of Band 4 level or above
2 Experience of gathering, analysing, investigating and reporting on information
3 Experience of providing advice in relation to terms and conditions of service
4 Experience in the use of Microsoft Word for production of reports / letters
5 Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment
In Return: Rate of pay £16.04 per hour
