Job description

Grafton Recruitment are working in partnership with the Northern Ireland Civil Service to recruit a temporary Senior Information Officer to start ASAP for a duration of 11 Months.

Pay rate: 0-12 week's £12.00

13+ week's £19.37

Location: Belfast, BT4

Hours: 9:00AM- 5:00PM Monday - Friday 37 hours per week

Essential Criteria

Digital Marketing skills and experience in some or all of the

following:

  • Experience in creating online content, implementing and evaluating digital marketing campaigns, measuring and reporting data analytics, creating and placing online advertisements.
  • Stakeholder engagement: working well with individuals or teams from other business areas within or outside of their organisation.

Duties

  • The job holders will be responsible for directly supporting the MyNI Team in DAERA in developing and embedding the MyNI digital and joined-up approach to stakeholder engagement. Having experience and expertise in digital marketing, they will have a key operational role in planning, implementing, evaluating and reporting digital campaign streams that contribute to Programme for Government (PfG) Outcome 2 and other shared PfG outcomes. The post holders' primary roles will be to research, create, manage and measure content on MyNI social media channels (fb, twitter, Instagram) and on www.mynilife.life on a day-to-day basis. They will help to evaluate and report the impact of campaign activity through data analytics, survey statistics and feedback. They will also help to manage day-to-day engagement and working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • MyNI is a digital transformation project that aims to embed a new shared digital communications service in DAERA and a new culture for citizen-centric digital engagement and innovation. MyNI aims to provide evidence of influencing an increase in the uptake of Government information and services that will lead to positive behavioural change and contribute to PfG Outcome 2.
