Service Assistant

Lisburn

The Client: Local body based in Lisburn, serving local residents

Duties:

KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

To carry out a wide range of tasks relating to Patient Experience Services including but not limited to:

Cleaning and Housekeeping

• Delivery / collection of stores / mail / food / specimens
• Bleep calls
• Periodic cleaning
• Furniture
• Floor maintenance
• Kitchen cleaning
• Sanitary areas
• Patient areas
• Office areas
• General / clinical waste
• Making beds
• Removal / re-hanging curtains
• Laundry services
• Making up Soft Packs/Decontamination Services
• Special cleans

Food Production/Service

• Food service
• Dish washing
• Cash handling
• Kitchen cleaning
• Temperature controls

Security

• Car parking
• Site checks
• Handle incidents
• Cash handling
• Dealing with alarms
• Escort duties

Communication

• Reception services
• Dealing with enquiries - recording information both electronic and written
• Reporting - maintenance; complaints; incidents

Hours of work: Monday- Sunday (Based on a rota) hrs to be discussed

Requirements:

• Ability to work on own initiative & working as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Available to work outside of normal office hours to include evenings or weekends as required.
• Willing to undergo an enhanced Access NI check(£33)

In Return:

• Rates of Pay: £9.50 p/hr
• Holiday Entitlement
