Job description

Do you have a passion for providing excellent customer service? Do you thrive on problem-solving, and are you highly organised and efficient? We are looking for someone with this proven skillset to step into an exciting opportunity working with our award-winning client. Could you be the Service Coordinator we're looking for?

The company you'll join has been running for six generations and is a leading supplier of their specialist equipment. As their new Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for a variety of duties, with a heavy emphasis on aftersales customer care, making a difference to the customers who need it most.

Essential Criteria

  • Recent experience in a customer service role
  • Excellent abilities to communicate, including a professional telephone manner
  • Excellent administrative skills, including Excel spreadsheets
  • Empathy and patience for dealing with customers
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • A-Level/BTEC or similar level qualification

Your day might include:

  • Phone calls responding to aftersales enquiries, solving customer issues
  • Co-ordinating, monitoring and improving field service activities.
  • Providing support and guidance to service personnel who perform on-site routine services including installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Scheduling service/repair callout and appointments, and preparing quotations
  • Ensure workshop is highly organised and tidy at all times
  • Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately
  • Managing Fleet vans service, PSV requirements and mobility administrative system
  • Treating all customers with patience, respect and be aware that many of our customers have disabilities or learning difficulties and require clear communications.
  • Develop good working relationships with other staff.
  • Varied day to day administrative tasks
