Site Based Administrator

Are you an Education leaver in the last 12 months and looking for work?

Are you under 25 and been unemployed for 6 months or longer or are you over 25 and been unemployed long term for more than a year?

This may be the perfect challenge for you. We are recruiting for a site based Administrator as part of the Social Value Scheme for one of our clients projects based at Bushmills Courthouse. The role is providing administration support to the site manager. This programme is to support an individual wishing to step into employment, who is: over 25 and long term unemployed for longer than a year or under 25 and been unemployed for 6 months or longer or anyone who has left education in the last 12 months.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, have good organisational skills and enjoy working with others. Full training will be provide with this role.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • You will support the site manager with administrative tasks (e.g email & phone communications, word processing, record keeping) to support the efficient running of the site. You will enjoy working in a team and ensuring documents are accurately completed and filled.
  • Providing administration support to the site manager
  • Photocopying, scanning, printing and filing
  • Taking and making phone calls
  • Email communications
  • Maintain accurate site records (digital and paper)

Essential Criteria:

  • GCSE's at grade C or above in Math's & English or equivalent
  • IT skills to use email and Microsoft Word
  • Able to take instructions and work as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Good telephone manner

Desirable Criteria:

  • Previous experience in a administrative role
  • IT skills including the use of word, Excel and Outlook
  • Problem solving skills
  • Good organisational skills

Hour of Work:

  • Monday to Thursday from 8am to 4.35pm and Friday from 8am to 4pm.

Rate of pay:

  • £10.50 per hour

Job Type: Full time - long term temporary with potential for a permanent position
