Spray Painter - 3 Shifts

The Client: Our client is a well established Group that delivers innovative, engineered solutions to their customers.

Outline of the role:

The warm up routine of the machine

The mixing of the paint

Setup and Operation of the spray painting equipment and associated processes

Follow the defined quality checks for product

Completion of related machine data records

Full compliance of all safety aspects of the machine

Run the Spray painter in production

Manual painting.

Duties :

Liaise with Business Unit Manager, Supervisor and other related personnel regarding the product and program and fixture requirements for set up.

Safe set up of the Spray-Painting line for production.

Liaise with quality engineers / inspectors to ensure that quality requirements are fully complied with.

Select and input the necessary programs for the products.

Report machine faults to maintenance so as to minimise down time

Maintain written records associated with efficient running of the machine.

Ensure that good housekeeping standards are observed in and around the Spray booth.

Hours of Work

Primarily Mids and Nights although the successful candidate may be required to work on the three-shift pattern, the shift pattern may be subject to change as directed by the needs of the business.
