Store Manager

Responsibilities:

• Maintains store staff job results by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Achieve Company Sales Targets.
• Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
• Ensures availability of merchandise, maintaining inventories.
• Cash Office transactions- Cashing up, lodgements, till procedures.
• Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
• Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Any other duties role may involve.

Person Specification:

• 2 years management experience in the retail sector
• Able to demonstrate a track record of success in previous roles
• Positive attitude with the proven ability to coach and motivate staff
• Ability to perform multiple tasks
• Excellent presentation with a confident ability to demonstrate retail product knowledge
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Confidence in communicating with a range of customers
