Staffline Recruitment Cork are currently recruiting for a full time and permanent Van-Sales Representative. The Sales Representative will be to sell and distribute a range of Fresh food branded products to all client customers.
Key Responsibilities - Operations
- Develop sales of the Company products within the Retail and Foodservice sector in the Cork region
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers with the aim of achieving key customer sale targets and minimising the threat of competitors
- Achievement of sales & returns budgets in line with given targets and company standards
- Successfully implement and control promotional activity and new product launches
- Interface & provide feedback to Management regarding marketplace activities
- Report on sales trends, competitor activity & canvass new business
- Ability to gain new customers & develop existing business
- Develop customer service standards and issue resolution
- Merchandising and shelf space management
- Attend weekly team meetings
- Ensure adherence to company practices & procedures
Key Responsibilities - People
- Training & Development of new Van Sales representatives as required
- Delivering goals and objectives of the van sales team
- Adhere to company policies, procedures and standards, including Health & Safety, ensuring that the team operates within legal and best management guidelines.
- Communicate key updates to the Field Sales Rep
Education & Experience
- Full clean driving license
- At least 3 years team management experience
- Field sales experience
- Previous FMCG experience is essential
- Strong commercial awareness
- Knowledge of Food safety & Hygiene standards
