Staffline Recruitment are welcoming applications for a Van Sales Representative based in Limerick.
Purpose of the Role
The Van Sales Representative will be able sell and distribute a range of pre packed sandwiches, wraps and pasta products to our customers.
The role will require travelling to other locations based in Limerick and subrubs.

Accountabilities include
Operations
- Develop sales of the Freshways Food Company products within the Retail and Foodservice sector in the specific regions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers with the aim of achieving key customer sale targets and minimising the threat of competitors.
- Achievement of sales & returns budgets in line with given targets and company standards.
- Successfully implement and control promotional activity and new product launches.
- Interface & provide feedback to Management regarding marketplace activities.
- Report on sales trends, competitor activity & canvass new business.
- Ability to gain new customers & develop existing business.
- Develop customer service standards and issue resolution.
- Merchandising and shelf space management.
- Attend weekly team meetings.
- Ensure adherence to company practices & procedures.
People
- Training & Development of new Van Sales representatives as required.
- Delivering goals and objectives of the van sales team.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures and standards, including Health & Safety, ensuring that the team operates within legal and best management guidelines.
- Communicate key updates to the Field Sales Rep.

Education and Experiance
- Full clean driving license
- At least 3 years team management experience
- Field sales experience
- Previous FMCG experience is essential

- Knowledge of Food safety & Hygiene standards
