Warehouse Operative

Staffline are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading courier provider for both full-time/part-time Warehouse Operatives.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced warehouse operative to join an existing team.

Candidates applying must be willing to work 3.30am - 7.30am & 3.30pm - 7.30pm

The successful candidate will participate in all operational functions within the warehouse

Main Responsibilities:

• receiving parcels in goods inwards, verifying using hand-held terminals.
• preparing orders for dispatch
• cross reference parcels from picking list.
• Ensure all damaged stock is recorded accordingly.
• Loading and unloading vehicles according to health & safely guidelines.
• maintaing the cleaniness of area.
• Reporting to the Depot supervisor.
• Any other duties when required.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 1-year previous Warehouse experience.
• Physically fit as the role requires manual lifting of parcels.
• Ability to understand/complete basic administration/documentation.
• Ability to use warehouse computer systems.
• Team working

Desirable:

• Full UK Driving Licence
• A working knowledge of delivery procedures
• Previous experience of working directly with customers.
• Previous experience of driving light vans e.g., Transit.
• Previous experience of multi drops.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
