General Responsibilities:

To assist in Delivering a seamless warehouse operation. Ensure full regulatory compliance on all warehouse processes and activities in adherence to Company policies and procedures.

Specific Responsibilities:

In addition to the main duties and responsibilities listed below, the warehouse operative will be expected to perform other duties in line with their skills and abilities.

Safety:

• Ensure the Company's Health and Safety policies are adhered to and all operational legislative requirements are fulfilled.
• Report any incidents of non-conformance to the warehouse manager at first instance.
• Ensure stock is stored, handled and transported securely and safely as per training and in line with company procedures.
• Ensure Mechanical Handling Equipment is safely operated at all times.
• Help to identify any potential hazards or risks that could be associated with daily duties and communicate with First line manager.
• Maintain a clean and tidy working environment compliant with HSE regulations.
• Implementing and Monitoring Food Safety Procedures: One crucial responsibility is to establish and enforce food safety procedures within a food establishment.
• Adhere and promote Food Safety Procedures: One crucial responsibility is to adhere and promote food safety procedures within a food establishment.
• Training: A crucial responsibility is to be trained, educated, and adhere to standards across food safety.

Duties:

• Carry out all tasks/Duties as per training and to the best of your ability.
• Ensure all inbound, outbound and internal stock movement processes are recorded and reported accurately, compliantly and on a timely basis and report any issues encountered.
• Minimise the risk of damage to stock.
• Undertake MHE duties as and when required, ensuring safety checks are conducted accurately and thoroughly and warehouse guidelines observed.
• Assist with regular spot bond & BRC checks and audits of stock.
• Ensure Company guidelines and operating procedures are always followed.

Security:

• Support and adhere to the required security measures to protect the site, and personnel, assets and of the customer's product for the required area.
• Adhere to site searches upon exiting the building.
• Report any observations of site security breaches.
