Job description


  • Order Handling

Process sales orders, organise the warehouse using pallet trucks and trolleys, stock rotation, pick and pack goods for delivery quickly and accurately, schedule goods dispatch and liaise with couriers and customs, receive goods into warehouse, unload product, check and receipt, documenting orders and monitor progress to completion. Maintain stock levels with a First In, First Out (FIFO) process and assist in the count process during Stock Take. Deal with return/exchange product swiftly completing all required documentation. Yard duties and housekeeping as required.

  • Customer Support

Handle inbound enquiries, provide product information to meet customer needs, keep customers updated regarding the status of sales orders and other queries in line with service level agreements and KPIs

  • Sales Support

Liaise with and provide support to the field-based sales team, create and issue quotations, dispatch sales literature and product samples to customers

  • Administration

Maintain accurate records and use of IT systems including ERP and CRM solutions, provide reports on customer activity, service level agreements and KPIs

Essential Criteria;

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar warehouse/distribution environment involving inventory control, goods inwards and order picking.

Requirements and skills;

  • Manual Handling duties, able to lift and carry heavy items and general compliance with Health & Safety requirements
  • Ability to work in a small team with a 'can-do' attitude, as well as using own initiative
  • Proven track record in customer service/ order handling and administration
  • Outgoing personality, Strong telephony, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Computer literate.


  • Full Driving Licence
  • Forklift/Side loader licence c
  • Customer service and/or administrative role experience
  • Proficient in the use of CRM/ ERP systems and IT processes
